Had the fan stopped in the PSU? If the system would run, then not work till it has sat for awhile sounds like it must be thermal and the PSU was given time to cool down. I can not think of anything else that would change during the wait.

Do you have access to another PSU to test with? Since this is your ex's machine, can you pull one from yours just long enough to test with? I have worked on a few machines that had a PSU go out, and that in turn took out the motherboard (mos often Bestec in an Emachine though, sounds like you are wo...

And does he also have the distinction of having the worst long term approval rating in US history? Yup, he is an embarassment to the nation and the Republican party. All US presidents during a war have such favorable moments, it's when the people see the long term results that they get all the fact...

Hi Kieran45, There are several things that can cause the system so shutdown including CPU overheating, power supply, and probably also memory or motherboard issues. If you have a spare power supply, that would be a relatively easy one to diagnose. I had a system that was shutting down because the he...

Hi JoeWPgh, Thanks for the civil reply. I agree 100% with your first point, and that is why to be fair, I identify myself as conservative. I try to avoid any such bias, but as a human, I know that is bound to happen. I also agree regarding Bluefront's signature, and I have said that before. What mad...

Aristide, It is your lack of respect for others on here that I am reacting to. Your certainly do not have to agree with myself or Bluefront, but calling people names like you called him supremacist is uncalled for. I have re-read this entire thread. In many places, I see Neil and Bluefront among oth...

Sorry, you are correct that I quoted the wrong passage, but that does nothing to correct the logic errors in your argument. Fine, go with "Any loss of American life is horrible". It is still not valid logic to call that supremacist. That is only attacking the other person and not the logic. He does ...

Dutchmm,

I think you got the #1 and #3 most important things to learn. I always heard first was beer, second was bathroom. Although getting your friend to pay for the beer would be nice, it certainly would not be as important as finding the bathroom!

That is only $195 from Newegg which has great reputation, takes RMAs, and much more flexible payment options. Nothing personal, but I would pay the extra $10 to deal with a company with that I and friends have dealt with many times, and excellent service reputation.

Are you running at stock voltage? If you undervolt, it can take a little more power when the electronics are cold than when they are up to temperature.

I do not know why the primaries are even a government funded event. All the primaries are for is for each party to select who they will put on the ballot for president in the General election. If they seat both states though, then 2026 would not longer be the target number of delegates that they need.
