I forgot to mention in my specs but I am using the M-Audio 2496 sound card and on board sound is disabled. Speakers are also turned off. I muted my input but it didn't help. Upon further investigation it really sounds like the clicking is coming from somewhere inside the PC. I listened closely on al...

My PC "clicks" when I do something
I have already eliminated the hard drives. My PC boots and runs off of a networked server in another room so I shouldn't have any local HDD noise. My speakers are off too. The clicking seems to happen when I do something with the keyboard or mouse. I often hear it for key presses, mouse wheel scroll...

It started for me just recently when I finally decided to move my 24/7 server box (super loud) into a closet where it wouldn't bother anyone. It was a lot of work to layout the ethernet cables but the results were astonishing. I never knew the room could be so quiet with just my desktop PC. Since th...

I am very unsatisfied with my current system. I am running a NMB-MAT low speed 92mm fan for the CPU and video card, a same brand low speed 120mm exhaust and a S12 380W PSU and I can hear it if I get to within 1m of it. Will be moving to Athlon X2 BE-2300 with on board graphics soon to limit the fan ...

I got a Smart Power with my Sonata II case and its been working fine. Don't know how long I've had it but definity more than a few months. I would be dissappointed if Antec's newer models are having problems. Their older models were awesome! I still have and use an Antec 380W Truepower that runs per...

I may be the odd one here, but I think it looks decent for a gamers case...kinda stealthy lookin'...certainly better than alot of the cheesy/tacky cases out there. Like others have said, it looks too open for a silent case, but that's not what it was intended for though...is it? This case was a sur...

Why not? I don't know what kind of speeds you get on your torrents but if you have standard home broadband like I do, 80GB will probably be plenty for download space since you have plenty of space on other drives to move completed files to. The torrents space will be just the space required for buff...
