Sorry for the latency of my reply. I have a more finished model of my setup, but I can not post it because I have been out of school and without access to AutoCADD. I will answer what I can. @ diver : The PSU is oriented to draw air from the outside. This is in hope to keep the fan from ramping up. ...

mATX case design (conceptual)

This is a case design for mATX set up. Some of the criteria: -mATX Mobo -Accommodates tower heatsinks, like a HR-1 -Accommodates larger heatsinks on graphics cards, like a HR-3 -Room for 2 suspended HDs -Must be attractive http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2804/4149121024_81232c427d.jpg Larger image: h...

I have some questions. What kind of psu are you using and where are going to put it? What coolers are you going to be using for the cpu and the graphic card?
How are you planning for air to flow through the case?

The drive is holding up just fine. It does what I want it to. I used the drive to build my music collection, play DVDs and load and play Battlefield 2. I did try to boot it as a primary drive (for Linux) but it would not boot like an ide drive, that may be due to not having bios set up correctly. I ...

I ended up that I had a bad stick of RAM. Took all sticks except one out and windows booted up just fine. I just got to figure out which stick is bad, I take it that I can boot up and run memtest to figure it out. Still bought a new hard drive... maybe it is time for a whole new computer... Thank yo...

@NeilBlanchard: I did go to the second time to repair, but I got the screen that was posted in the picture, it did not have the option to repairing. If put the drive in an external enclosure, would I be able to pull files off the drive that way? It would be easier for me to just do a clean install o...

Repairing XP install

I am attempting to repair my OS. When I boot, my computer posts normally. Then tells me that my computer was powered down abruptly and asks how I want to proceed: safe, safe w/ networking, safe w/ command prompt, last known configuration or normal. If I choose any of the first three choices, the com...

Wireless problem

Well, I forgot the password to my wireless router and had to reset it. I filter who can get in the network by MAC addresses. When I reset the router I reentered the MAC address and added WEP encryption. Here is the problem. My mother's laptop can not access the internet, but it is connected to the r...

I don't have a pic currently, sorry. But the Minja fits nicely on my AM2 mobo, MSI Platinum. There is actually more clearance of the RAM slots with the Minja. Originally I have a Rev. B Ninja in the specs.

That thing appears to be a standoff.

Bluefront, are you sure?... I would be tempted to try to remove it with force, but only if I was sure I was not going to need it in the future.

I would have to agree with Bluefront, making any case is time consuming. I made a wood case, it took a while to design and to produce and it is still not up to my standards. It takes a good workshop and know how to produce a good produce. If you really want to make a wood case fast, use aluminum bar...

Looking for a Rackmountable Case

Does anyone know if a U4 case can support a Minja and X1900 w/ HR-03?

And if all possible can i fit this in a U3 case?

There are a few U4 cases on Newegg that have 120mm fans... are any one of these acceptable or of good quality? link

Rackmount case

Can anyone suggest a rackmount case that could house a standard PSU and ATX mobo?

Do you think a U4 be house a Ninja in it?

The HR-03 can be mount wrap over way (the way my is installed). or it can be install non-wrap over.

The contact surface should be fine, the bracket only applies pressure to the corners of the block.

I have the HR-03 installed on my X1900GT. It works beautifully. I am running it passive. see my sig link to see my set up.

Installation was easier than the Ninja. It was very straight forward.

The motherboard you are buying has firewire port. No need to buy a seperate card for your external hard drive

Pic of back I/O here

It also has a PCI bracket with header for firewire port.
