Samsung Syncmaster 245BW
When I was looking for the Samsung Syncmaster 245BW on the internet I found out that it makes those sounds too. It is 24 inch with HD resolution and costs below 500 euro so I think it will gain much interest.

39 watt idle sempron
Hi, Perhaps this is interesting for you. Sempron 3400 micro-atx abit nf-m2 power consumption system at idle: 39 watts. The abit nf-m2 seems to be a great mobo. I've made a few measurements on my system, for those interested. I used Crytal CPUID to set up a low operating point of 4x multiplier and Vc...

Thanx jaganath, These numbers confirm what TomsH also measured. Still I´m interested in the Power consumption of micro/atx boards with c2d which I think, hope they will use less watts in idle mode. My girlfriend and I have a company at home. My pc acts as a server so it has to be on all day. cheers...

idle power consumption C2D versus Athlon
Hi all http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/09/25/green_machine/page4.html Came across an article on toms hardware wich covers the idle power consumption of athlon and C2D systems. To sum it up briefly...The difference is 27 watts between the athlon (55 watts) and the C2D (82) in favour of the athlon. I...

Those are good options. The schooner is the cheapest with 31 euro's. The TR v is 48 euros. I will give it a better look later when I have more time. If you want to measure the space in between the HR-05 and the graphics cards that would be very nice. I lean toward the fanless schooner option. Thanx ...

The tunnel is from thermalright if I'm not mistaken. It costs about 10 euro's. It's much longer in its original state but i had to cut the middle section out. It's not 100% compatible so I would't really suggest it but it works good enough for me ;-) The plastic is very soft and it's a bit sticky. I...

My first mod
hi guys, (& girls?) My gaming pc was a bit loud so I placed it in another room. Though this works fine and is complete silent, it isn't very practical. Just for fun I started to read the spcr. First i bought the solo. Tried a TR HR-01 but the orientation was wrong to use it with a tunnel towards the...
