I never thought about slowing down the pump for H50. I haven't connected my H50 yet to see if I hear anything but would slowing down pump cause any unintended issue? Maybe such as damaging pump or any premature fail?

To quiet Raptor

I haven't keep up with one of silent box. Are there any that can work with WD Raptor as far as heat? I'm thinking about placing mine in one of those and suspend it.

Thanks

Best MATX you can currently buy is Asus P5E-VM HDMI. Overclocks like ATX, comes with HDMI and VGA built in which you can also do dual display even without additional PCIE card, IEEE1394, RAID. Only thing that I can think of this board missing is E-SATA port. I waited to be released in states and bou...

Anyone saying they expected it to be quieter simply had unrealistic expectations and didn't research properly. It is a normal steel case with fancy doors and noisy fans. If you missed the noisy part there you might have a selective reading problem :) Well, I must have neglected to read all the nega...

Yeah, I've noticed it. There's not much thing that little mod can't fix but knowing that P18x was created quietness in mind, I expected little more. I just didn't want to mod the case including fan swap until Q9450 comes out which I was planing to finish my pc. I was expecting more of take mobo and ...

The reason I'm hooking up to Zalman is 1. I already have it 2. I know from experience that getting right amount of air coming in/out could actually quiet things down too which setting it to 5v and 7v can't do. I usually do that when I'm building cheap build. Also depends on how you build and which c...

reversed fan is only for Q-pack where my stuff came from. I have couple of yate loons and nexus fan so I'll try those. didn't know lowest speed was 1200RPM. I just figured P18x's are quiet case, they would have put quiet fans to start with especailly with 3 speed adjustment. I'll swap out fans with ...

Disappointed with P18x?

I wanted P18x for long time now since I heard so many good things about it especially how quiet it is. When I saw P182 for $45 AR, I had to pull the trigger even though I really didn't need any case because I knew P18x can't get any cheaper than this. So it arrived and sat in dinning room for a week...

Although I probably won't buy Antec PSU, they did good job. That's what they are supposed to do but like other one said it's not something most other companies do. Good job Antec!!! P.S. I bought Antec 2 PSU before. 1 still in use other one in box. coil whine annoys hell out of me but I painted that...

Quiet CODEGEN CAT-9011-C10 ***Updated 8/23/07***

08/16/07 I've bought this case couple of years ago and gave it to my brother along with AMD64 3200+, 3x512MB DDR, K8V SE Deluxe and 6800 GT like 3 years ago. It was kicka$$ system back then but I figured only way I can stop playing game is to have computer that is not capable of playing game. So, I ...

lol I was wrong. It's called Noblesse and they don't carry 1st gen. I didn't check english site but on Korean site, it's still there as Noblesse SE. Also they still use 2 80mm fan on back. Not sure about SE but 1st gen, you could mod it to accomodate 3 120mm fan which I have not done since I wanted ...

This looks like modified GMC(not car mfg. but Korean case maker) Nobless case. Or copy of it which are altered a bit by different mfg. I have Black/Blue 1st gen of this case. This almost looks like between 1st gen and 2nd but it's not since I can see some hook up on top of front panel. also 1st gen ...

Yeah, that is the site where I first saw Fujin but not that thread though. It weighs little more than Tuniq, about 70g lighter than Zalman 7700 and over 110g lighter than Infinity. Also, like they said it cools about the same as Tuniq and Infinity but Fujin has benefit of cooling entire upper side o...

Quiet YY-0221 ***Updated 05/24/07***

01/11/07 This is going to be my YY-0221 build. I just like cube cases and I had many options but ended up getting this one. I wish YY-0221 have about a inch more side way on mobo side so I have more options with heatsink such as Ninja. I hope I finish this one not like all the other ones that I buil...
