Is there a significant difference in noise level between the Antec Tri-cool (running on Low) and the Nexus 120mm? thanks for the replies, guys.

however I was planning on spending like under 15 or 10 bucks for a quiet cooler for my socket A CPU. if anyone does have some recommendations, please let me know. It doesnt have to be super-quiet, just fairly quiet.

anyone used a coolermaster for socket a?

quiet CPU cooler for Socket A ???

hello,

i'm tryin to make my old pc (1.7 ghz, athlon 2100) quieter, and I'm looking for some CPU coolers that'll do the trick. (socket A)


anyone have recommendations?

i'm using a zalman zm-f2 in my antec Solo case. in silent mode, its very very quiet. they're cheaper than the nexus fans too.

and yea, truckman is right, u do need a fan there to cool the harddrives.

well, you could get one of those zalman vga coolers OR you could get a zalman fb123 (its a 92 mm fan with a mounting bracket, it hangs over the video card and cools it directly. that might do it.
