i have the TT TMG A1 and a amd 6400 X2 and it cools it fine, temps arounf 47 on load and around 35ish idle

sorry to go off topic but this is some what close to this thread, when the 8800gts came out i was low on cash but wanted one so o bought a 8800gts 320 (they dont sell them any more) and now i have enough $$ for a 8800gts 512 and was wondering if i would be able to SLI the 320 and 512 together? sorry...

ok thanks, well seeing how the reason i dont have 2 of them on is because on to of the sinks the termal take was crappy and they kept falling off, so right now i have the sinks placed on the "top" of the card to pull off anny heat they can

8800GTS Ramsinks?

IS there a real need to put the Ramsinks on the ram from a HR-03, because 2 of mine keep falling off but even with the heatsinks on i cant even tell the temp difference from touching the back of the card.

hey does anyone know if the HR-03 will fit on a 8800GT, of if it will fit with a different mounting bracket? (if a different bracket is needed i can make it, i work in a metal shop)

the backside cooler and then with it to see if it even makes a difference

Im doing a build for a friend and hes into that whole "gamer" look and he wants an "exotic" looking heat sink, nothing like a regular heatsink in the shape of flames but something "different"

buy a tube of silicon, its rubbery and will seal very well and if you dont like it just peel it of :D you can also buy it in clear and other colors

hahahah, see and every one here pointed fingers at me when i told them i chose the 900, and yet here i am cooling a 3800 X2 oced to 2.5, gts8800, 3 hdds, all with 1 fan running at 800rpm... and still i have average temps :lol:

and just in case you didnt know the average 100,000 read/write limit is per block of memory, say write a 1mb file to it only that one block that its one gets 1 cycle taken away, all the others still have 100,000, or so thats what iv read here

o, really, o my mistake then, i just thought that they would get to hot, well my self personally wouldnt run it with out any heat sinks on them, if anything id just stick on some normal ramshinks

eh i messed around with solid sate for alittle while, for storage use a file server, install the apps from your computer on to a share then u should get a icon in ur desktop that will launch it
