Putting the ninja > asus fit issues aside (i've been reading up). I've got no faith in it fitting together with the rest of the bits and inside a solo case.

So will it fit okay with the rest of the components i listed?

Happy New Year to you all. simple question. I'm not going to overclock the machine so do i really need a cpu heatsink (and would it fit anyway?) or should i just buy a 92mm front fan instead? suggested build: Antec Solo Seasonic S12 430W Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi Corsair Memory PC4...

forgot to mention that the spec for Scan.co.uk is CHEAPER and has a high grade mobo. WiFi version of the P5B Deluxe

INTEL CORE 2 DUO Question:Retail box or not?

Hi all I've been looking at the the Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 and have seen this listed on overclockers as two versions (RETAIL OR OEM). As i'm adding a sythe ninja heatsink will i need the retail version. i understand the RETAIL version comes with a heatsink and fan. all help much appreciated. !! :)

cheers beyonder & ronrem, i was told that the 7300 will upgrade itself to 512 with 1gb of ram. as i'm having 2gb this should happen right?

thank you for the advice. i was looking at the WD SE16 but read somewhere that the samsungs are a tad more reliable - is this correct or hearsay?

re: cooling via a ninja - can i get away without this for a bit and add it later?
