Re: SpinPoint EcoGreen F4EG 2TB HD204UI/Z4

Sorry should have said but I have a dedicated hardware card, Highpoint RR1740. Will I run into any issues with misalignment with this?

Re: SpinPoint EcoGreen F4EG 2TB HD204UI/Z4

Has anyone had any experience with using these in raid with a pre Vista environment (XP/W2K3)? I'm looking at setting these up in a raid 5 in a W2K3 server and would like to know what I need to do to get them formatted correctly. If anyone could shed some light that would be great!

Help! Need some SPCR Backup!

So I may have gotten in a bit of an argument with a guy on another Forum. I said that you can run a suprising amount amount of gear on a lower wattage PSU <430W and that 1Kw PSUs are pretty useless. I then went onto say that my system is matched pretty well to the efficiency curve of my PSU. He repl...

The Neo will easily run your system. I have a NeoHE 430 running perfectly with my 8800GTS and not once have i even heard the fan spin up. It will be plenty of power.

I had a similar problem when asking around whether the ninja would fit my board, my solution was to grab the dimensions of the ninja from the scythe website then build a mockup of the heatsink out of paper. It may be a primitive solution but it worked for me.

NeoHE + ESP12V??

I have a NeoHE 430W and plan on buying a new motherboard soon but the potential candidates all use an eight pin power connector, will i be able to run these boards with my current PSU? or will i need to buy a new one?

Asus P5N-e SLI vs Abit FP-IN9

I have decided on ordering parts for my new system this week (E6320, 2gb DDR2-667) But i cant decide on which motherboard to choose. I have narrowed it down between the Asus P5n-e SLI and the Abit FP-IN9 because i want the 650i chipset. Both of the boards are quite similar. The Abit has an extra PCI...

Well it seems that shopping over here is quite retarded considering that i just checked and i can get 2gb DDR2-667 cheaper than the comparable 533 modules. Go Figure... I chose the Ninja for its superior low air flow cooling characteristics, but if the chances of the pushpins being too crap I may ha...

Its Time to upgrade from my ageing 3000+ venice to something new and shiny, oh how i like shiny. I have gathered a list of worthy components but I am undecided on exactly what to get any advice or suggestions would be quite helpful. Scythe Ninja on Abit KN8

Hi all, The time has come to upgrade my HSF from my all too noisy Zalman CNPS-7000B and i was wondering if anybody would know if a Scythe Ninja plus Rev.B would fit on a Abit KN8 S939 Mobo with a Zalman ZM-NB47J on the northbridge. http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/products.php?categories=1&model=...
