Got this from an email I sent to EVGA:

Hi, the noise difference is negligible. I'm sorry but we do not have a
way of telling you how many DB noise volume.

Anybody have experience with the new ACS3 version(s) of the EVGA 8800 GTS? In the press they talk about it running cooler, but naturally no mention is made of dB.
