Re: quiet table fan
I haven't found a site that can ship the Zippi to Canada, and it doesn't seem to be available in Canada.

quiet table fan
Hi
I'm looking for a small very quiet table fan. I find that the normal ones you buy at local stores makes too much noise. I just want a slight breeze while I work.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I've purchased the P183 to replace my P180, and I built my girlfriend's computer with a P182, so I've had a bit of experience with all three models. My rig has a Q6600 cooled with a Tunic Tower, a 850W Enermax 85+ PSU, GTX 275 vid card. Two hard drives in the bottom chamber. The 183 is indeed noisie...

In my P180 I have 2 intake fans, 2 exhaust and one fan in the HDD/PSU tunnel. Exhaust: -top -rear Intake: -middle drive cage (took the cage out) -Upper drive cage (bought a Scythe Kama bay 3 x 5.25" slots free) For the PSU/HDD tunnel, I left the stock Antec at low. The rest are Scythe S-Flex 1200rpm

Correct. I bought into the hype because of the performance numbers shown on Silentpcreview's tests. They (the Noctuas) were clearly the best fans to procure upon reading the test results. It is clear however that fan testing isn't indicative of actual real life application performance. The Noctuas s...

Blabla. Sorry but I guess the construction of your Tuniq Tower is all to blame for the results. On my Ninja (little to no airresistance) temps improved moving from an scythe to a Noctua (both @5v) The tuniq Tower is probably one of the worst performers when it comes to low-airflow. Why are you reac...

A mix of both... Another system has a spot for a fan and it's currently empty, I'll put one there. It can't hurt. The others will go in the big computer parts bin where I often go when I need parts It was just a bad choice on my part. My case (P180) is the silent type therefore has a restrictive flo...

I think they were not a good idea for my case I will change them. Still hesitating between the Silverstone FN121 and the Scythe S-flex (1200 or 1600) Have you taken any temperature readings? With 2 tricools at low set to exhaust (top and rear in my P180) I had 39C at game load (2 instances of Eve O...

There is no question that there is less noise on the Noctua, but as a respectable fan it needs to push as much as air as it is quiet. I simply found the noise/CFM ratio very dissapointing. IT seems as though they've sacrificed way too much airpressure and air flow for a mediocore silencing method. ...

I've been wondering... They are quiet but they don't seem to move a lot of air, even on 12V If I put a tissue in front of an intake fan, it can barely hold the tissue there. If I put the tissue in front of an exhaust fan, it can barely push it enough to let the air move... and it doesn't do much bet...

My PSU is a Seasonic Energy + 650 which I bought following the recommended list from silentpcreview.com. It is very quiet, and because the P180 puts the PSU in a separate chamber, the air coming out is cool even though I have a 8800GTS and a e6600 in there. For cooling, I picked the Tuniq Tower 120,...

Re: Please keep me informed
I too would like to replace my tri-cools in a Striker Extreme. I would like to try the Noctua so please let me know what you think after you install them! 8) I've received them two days ago and I've installed them yesterday I now have four fans in my P180: -Rear (exhaust) -Top (exhaust) -Top 3 x 5....

Noctua fan NF-S12-1200
Hi My tricool fans that I currently have use a 4-pin large molex power connector. I can`t connect them to the motherboard (P5B Dlx) without using an adapter. I want to buy new fans (NF-S12-1200 from Noctua) and I'd like to know if I would need adapters for those as well, or can they connect directly...
