Seems hot. My system is 31 degrees idle. I'd note that sometimes my board (P5B-Deluxe) fails to boot first time and the bios then cheerfully decides to up the voltage. If Im not careful it'll take it up to 1.56v or higher ('auto' in the bios) and the CPU is even then running at 45degrees idle, not 6...

What are you using to cut the case? Just a dremel? Looks really nicely done, is it as even underneath the covers or is that just an artifact of the automotive grip you used? I managed to fit my sata power cables through without cutting the case at the bottom... wasnt quite as pretty looking as your ...

Overclocked E6600@3.2ghz in a P180B with an 8800GTX. CPU idling at 33, Case at 46, Drives at 38 and 41, GPU at 72!! browsing SPCR. This is with a 1200RPM S-FLEX on CPU, 800 RPM S-FLEX on exhaust and 800RPM S-FLEX in the drive/PSU corridor. I have (disabled via fan controller) an 800RPM S-FLEX on the...

E6600 with a Thermalright Ultra 120, AS5, Scythe S-FLEX E, and two S-FLEX D's exhausting the rear/top on a P180B, overclocked to 3.2ghz by 400fsb/8 multiplier, stock voltage, my CPU is idling (right now) at 31 degrees. It goes up to 56ish under load with 2 Prime95's. This is on an Asus P5B Deluxe. I...

2 Bay high Kama-Alike?
I have a P180 with a Zalman MFC-1 and a DVD writer in it. I'm considering partitioning the middle of the case and running the top and rear exhausts and the CPU fan to cool the top 'cpu' compartment, then running an intake from the middle hard drive bay over the 8800GTX to vent out of the PCI slots w...

My Ultra 120 somehow managed to dislodge itself (I guess... it seemed pretty secure to me), and I didnt notice till I glanced at MBM after hours of Supreme Commander and realised my CPU was hitting 80 (!) degrees ... and I guess it had probably been pretty sustained around that level, maybe even hig...

I'm using the S-FLEX's, but I have little to compare them to other than the Antec Tri-Cools. They are definitely quiet, but I wouldn't go as far as to say silent, not even the 800rpm ones. The noise they give off is very constant though, which is good - more the noise of moving airflow than anything...

Would the E6600 temps. suffer if I didn't duct the Ninja and still ran it without a fan? I have my e6600 running fanless in my P180 with no temperature problems. I've actually got nearly the same build you do, only with 4gb of OCZ 800mhz ram, the Corsair 620W PSU, and a Geforce 8800GTX. The 8800 is...

I just connected the front panel headphone in so that both the headphones and external speakers can work simultaneously with or without the headphones in. My main speakers are on an a...

I don't believe it is a mess. Maybe you are used to going to extremities and even modding to ensure you get every last inch of every last cable out of the way, but as I am a begineer and all my hardware is within acceptable temperatures (especially after upgrading the VGA and chipset cooler), this ...

You might like some of the stuff I did in my 180 here: http://keg.zymurgy.org/~pingu/case/ I used rounded cables though ;) I'm fiddling with overclocking atm, so I moved the 1200rpm fan up onto the CPU and put one of the 800's down in the bottom instead. All fans are on while I toy with 3.6ghz. Im p...
