Would you happen to have any suggestions for the best low noise processor cooler for a Athlon EE processor that will fit best in this case? Inbox heatsink should be enough. It's kind a low profile one and when "fanmated" to 5-6V should be more than enough to cool an Athlon EE with much less noise t...

I've been using several Aopen H3xx cases for the last 6 years. I think they're the best bang for the buck you can buy at this size. They are made of 1,0mm steel (although small, they feel heavy) and they come with good quality Fortron PSUs (I think somehow Aopen and Fortron belong to the same group)...

Great! More than 2 years ago I posted here: http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=185898 A Micro-ATX version of the P180 should be great, does anyone here think the same? My wishes have come true, and now it's possible to build a powerful and silent computer with reduced size... :D .....

If you are looking for a mATX case that is really quiet, look at the Antec Aria. It uses a lot of the same technology and looks really neat. But, Aria doesn't have the drive expansion capacity or the plentiness of space of P180. I just wanted a case 6cm less tall, but with almost the same expansion...

Hi! Long time since I post over here. I'm very busy :( , but this event and the time spent reading the photo show and this thread and locating P180 here in Spain makes worthwhile the effort of recovering this time later. I may be buying one of these P180 in a month (once I get some spare time). I ha...

Socket 370 is outdated, even Socket A is getting into decadence... and Micro-ATX and manual voltage controlling motherboards are features that usually don't go together (it's been discussed earlier in this thread) ...but for now, yes, you can run a Duron Applebred undervolted and fanless. I'm happy that these quality PSU's don't make more damage when they blow up... ...unfortunately I can't say the same about several no-name PSUs I've had for years (before I met the now nearly extinct SPC ML). I may have blown up aprox 4-5 "El-cheapo" PSUs, all of them unmodified. It seems that heat ...

deebass Yes thanks for the article. Yes any thing more that 2000MHz would be hard work. From my investigations (search the forums for pod03) the A64 might adjust automatically better, but it will not go low as MHz so not as low energy. So socket A might be better for the purposes of adjustable from...

Asus A7A266. Speed01 controls all the headers, but not smoothly. If set to <=12% fans are off. If set higher than 19%, full-speed mode is set. If Speed01 is lower than 19%, but higher than 12%, speed is reduced significantly, but it depends on the fan. For example, the 6cm 5800 rpm Zalman fan on the...

Re: Abit NF7-S 2.0 undervoltable.
Abit NF7-S v2.0 is CPU undervoltable. In 0.025V increments, if I recall from 1.1V upwards. Currently we have two NF7-S boards running AMD T-BredB 1700+:s at 1.30V (1.6V default) with a slight 5% overclock. Both CPUs are stable through Prime95 and pass memtest86. Note: I do not know whether this deg...

New and quiet SFF from ECS: The EZ-Buddie
First, excuse me if this has been already discussed.
It seems quite quiet and it promises 30dB at 50cm distance and it's very cool-looking with that LCD front panel.
So now, I'm just expecting someone to get one and review it.
Also it would be good to know how customizable it can be.
