Re: Jetway NF9C-2600 Atom N2600 Mini-ITX Motherboard

Sure but what I'd like is power consumption data (in text mode especially). My concern is that the GPU will waste power without a decent driver (or some way to disable the GPU). That's been a problem with other GPUs in the past. But maybe not with this one. As promised I tried a 11.04 x86 Ubuntu Li...

Re: Jetway NF9C-2600 Atom N2600 Mini-ITX Motherboard

From the latest drivers from Intel I have seen no issues (not that were any other than with VGA). And, yes, Win7 32bit. From other stuff I've read online (can't remember the link) all Cedar Trail are strictly 32bit. I guess this is because the onboard GPU is broken somehow in 64bit, but I have no pe...

Re: Jetway NF9C-2600 Atom N2600 Mini-ITX Motherboard

I have the Intel equivalent DN2800MT board which has a slightly faster CPU @ 1.86GHz but is still passive. Running Windows 7 x86 using a very generic 120w 12v brick I see idle draw via a kill-a-watt-clone @ ~240V AC of 10-11w. Full load draw is around 16-17w so quite a bit lower than the Jetway. Als...

Somewhere around 5 to 6 weeks. Ridiculous really considering that (I think) I was the first to 'turn Red' with 6k ppd (a pair of quads running affinity changer) - which means back-in-the-day in the region of 5 to 6 months per mill!

Thanks guys! It was so close between Aris and I that I'd like to declare it a dead heat for the 8m. Cordis will soon blow past both of us so it seems only fitting that the spoils for 8m are shared.

Hey, congrats to our new #1, cd8uk ! Things are changing at the top! Thanks! I am worried that my term at No.1 will be disappointingly short, especially considering its taken nearly 2 and a half years of solid Folding to get here. Congrats in advance therefore to Aris and then, seemingly inevitably...

2 * XFX 256MB 8800GT's @ 687/1718/752 (core/shader/mem) in one box. Both get around 4,850ppd but I have seen up to 5,200ppd on 'easier' WUs.

For info the 2nd 8800GT is running in an open-ended PCI-E 2.0 4x slot but achieves almost identical ppd to it's twin running in the regular PCI-E 2.0 16x slot.

I actually have a pair of XFX 256MB 8800GT's (UK web site) which I've added a pair of Accelero S1 rev2's to. The major problem is that, contrary to what I've read elsewhere, the speed of GDDR does make a difference, which is seemingly more noticeable at lower speeds. The cards I have default to a qu...

Thanks.
