haha, CRT. Get a 24" dell LCD. It pwns. The soundcard is kinda overkill. I have a $500 soundcard that doesn't sound much better than intel's onboard. I'd say "das keyboard" for a keyboard. Don't buy microsoft keyboards, theyre awful to type on IMO. Oh, where to start.. Normal LCD's are bad for game...

E4300, X-Fi XtremGamer ""Fata1lty"", Get a CRT for gaming, or perhaps a 37" westinghouse. But don't get a 22" LCD, You're going to run 2.1 speakers on a $130 sound card? That's not very smart, IMO. 8600 will not run 1080p, if you're gaming. It is even slower than the 7800/7900 series. It's only advantage is that it has DX10 capability. But then, it's too slow to make use of it. Need ideas/suggestion
On how to keep my PC quiet. I plan to use an open case (i.e. http://www.svc.com/tech14x8-blk.html ) and a raptor HDD. I'll be getting a custom desk (I draw it in UED, my brother builds it.) and my "apartment" will be 16ftx36ft. I figured I'd keep the desk about 2 foot off the wall and put something ...
