Got the radiator. It is freaking huge. 18.75"x5.85"x4.10" (LxWxH). According to the guys at Feser, this thing is capable of dissipating 2000 watts of heat. The Noiseblocker fan looks amazing, best looking fans I've seen.

Need some more stuffs in before starting to chop GT1000 :)

Abandoning external rad...

Since this is my first water cooling, mind as well as go for the extreme...the whole 9 yards. The radiator will be two XSPC RX360s. It is sub 8 FPI (Fin Per Inch), and it is ideal for very low air flow fans such as those Noctua 500-RPM. These two 360 rads will be installed internally into the Zalman...

@~El~Jefe~ Do you know if the quick connect can be replaced? I am wonder if the Koolance Quick Connect will fit in the Zalman's fitment. The reason for this is that I want to use the more standard tubing. There is no doubt, I think the Res 1 v2 can cool 300-watts easily proven by that user who used ...

I'm not replacing the pump for performance reason, but just for convenience. This is a hardcore gaming rig, oracle database server, and work :). I need it to be silent as possible since I am using the computer into the midnight hour. The GTX 295 noise is bearable but I rather not hear it whining. Th...

Zalman Reserator 1 V2 + GTX 295

Will the Reserator 1 V2 capable of cooling the GTX 295? The TDP for GTX 295 is roughly 290 watts. I'm sure a 14 pounds block of aluminum can cope with 290 watts...but who knows I may be way off. NOTE: I would replace the pump. I need a DC pump that can be powered by the PC. Also, I will not be overc...

How loud are these fans (6)?

If put 6 of NF-S12-800 fans in the case, how loud are they going to be?
Noctua rated <5dBA per fan using U.L.N.A.

With this case, the appearance would look so plain and vanilla without those front two LED fans. The front case fans help lower about 5C though. All the fans in my case are now controlled by a fan controller. For the NB fan, I set the fan speed in the BIOS to operate at 50% and then I used FANMATE2 ...

Yeah the cables are kinda like spaghetti. The power cables supplied with the Corsair HX620W are short so I have to run them in the foreground rather than hidden in the background. It was nice and neat until I added the fan controller. However, after the case doors are closed I see no trace of wires ...

The stock heatsink of the 8800 GTS/GTX/ULT do not exhaust hot air externally (well maybe less than 5%). The heat gets dumped inside the case profusely through those shark-like-gills vent. This is where 95% of the heat escape and obviously inside the case. Put a pci-slot cooler underneath these fins,...

christopher3393, It used to be, yes. I did a minor reconfigured since then. You can control the VF1000 with the included FAN MATE2. Instead, I plugged the VF1000 fan to the motherboard chassis connector. With eVGA 680i SLI A1, the chassis 1 fan header can be adjusted with range from 0% to 100% from ...

VF1000 is no better than HR-03 Plus. Although people have the opinion about cost but you pay for feature and material. I'm not saying it is better but it is what it is. VF1000 is 100% copper, and HR-03 is 100% aluminum; and copper is more expensive in term of material and manufacturing process. The ...
