Yes, lots of dust. I was going to blow out my computer today, but it was raining. (I did it inside once...That was a bad idea.) I'm going to keep all 3 HDD's inside and suspend them. Thanks for the recommendation, though. I am going to get a fan controller, that sunbeam linked above, unless anyone e...

Thanks. What about the Corsair HX Series CMPSU-520HX 520W? How does that compare to the Seasonic and the fanless Antec?

Hard drive suspension involves going to a fabric store and buying some elastic thread - it costs less than a dollar per foot. Next, you build a webbing with the elastic thread (get at least 5-6 feet so you don't run out if you make a mistake) and slide the had drive inside of it. Now, your hard dri...

I'm keeping the Raptors. I have them in RAID 0 for speed. I honestly can't find any info on HDD suspension via the phpbb search function, can someone link me to it? And, aren't Yate Loon's the same exact thing as Nexus fans, but cheaper? Thanks. I took photos, http://www.xenuonline.com/pc/ Oh man. D...

Yeah, it needs a good cleaning. Is hard drive suspension usually done with like rubber bands? If so, I know what you're talking about. Edit: I'd rather not spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but I don't really have a budget. Edit: Is CoolerGuys a good site toe get Nexus fans from? I figure I ne...

I've been reccomended the Thermalright HR-03 Plus for my GPU, along with a fan, and Yate Loon fans. My main problem is my CPU fan, I think it's rated at 58dB. How would I suspend my harddrives? Can anyone else comment on fans? What about dampening? Also, I need to charge my camera, but I'll take pic...

Don't get that processor. Core 2 Duo's perform much better than the quad cores, they overclock better, etc. They're better in every way, not to mention being cheaper. No Windows consumer OS can handle more than 2 cores or 3 gigs of ram, anyway. Also, matched pairs of ram for dual-channel mode is a m...

Need to silence PC
All specs in sig. I'm getting open headphones soon, so I need to silence my PC. I don't know where to begin with this. Would I be ok just changing all the fans for quieter ones? Can I passively or otherwise quietly cool my 8800GTS? I have no overclocked components, but it would be nice if I could st...
