Which of these mobos has true PWM fan connectors?

I'm trying to get a mATX Kaveri mobo which has 3 true PWM fan connectors (1 for CPU, 2 chassis). So far I only see the Asus A88XM-PLUS/CSM and the Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H having 3x 4pin fan connectors, but I'm worried they might be 'fake' connectors. Here's the layout diagrams from the manuals for e...

Is 64bit support the only reason you don't want software fan controllers? B/C the latest version of Speedfan has a digitally signed 64 bit driver for Vista. It also has the most accurate temps, since it reads the core temps reported by the mobo, and doesn't rely on temp probes. 4.32 - added a digita...

While looking around I found this little gem: http://www.jab-tech.com/Nexus-Fan-Speed-Cable-FSA-75-pr-3860.html It's a pseudo fan controller that seems to be perfect for my needs in case I find the Loons too loud. Which fan filter would work better?

I know it's bad practice to use a fan filter but I really despise dust and I don't mind higher temps. Would it be better to use aluminum mesh filters or fabric? http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=92&products_id=246 http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...

have you tried sticking the 3 pin connector in other fan headers? On a few mobos, they have it so that some fan connectors allow speed regulation while others dont, for some reason.

Wow those temps are pretty amazing. 11C is a huge decrease in temps, and it's doing it with less RPM's than the Noctua, something I never though I would've seen. I could definitely put up with a little noise for 11C :D

The P182 should definitely work with a fanless PSU so long as you leave a fan in the lower chamber. You could replace it with a 500RPM slipstream and it'd do the job w/o making any noise at all hardly. The Solo... I dunno. There's no airflow to the PSU, but I'd assume that fanless PSU's are made to ...

The Corsair TX750w is a LOT more prepared for the future than the PCPC 750, because it has a whopping four 6+2pin PCI-E connectors, whereas I'm pretty sure the silencer only has regular 6 pin PCI-E connectors.

Oh schnap. I might just hold off on getting a TRUE120 when I make my new build just to see how this one pans out. Looks like with this you could use a side case fan to feed it air like in the RC 690, whereas with the TRUE120 it's too tall for it.

Download the trial version of Everest. It gives you the same temp readings that Speedfan does, plus it actually tells you where those temps are coming from (same for fans, as well). Just match up the Speedfan temps with Everest temps and labels and label the Speedfan temps accordingly.

PCP&C 750w in a P182?

A PCP&C 750w will fit just fine in a P182 as long as I get a fan grille for the bottom fan, right (besides taking it out)? How well does 3speed Fan cable work with a Minebea 1100RPM?

So I want to put a 1100 RPM Minebea 120mm in the bottom part of the P182, but I doubt I need 1100 RPM, and some people have said it's not needed at all. How much clearance between the side of a P182 and a Ultra120

Can anyone tell me how much clearance there is between their P182/P180 and an Ultra 120 Extreme? Id like to know because I want to put some sound dampening, but I've heard reports that there's barely 2mm between the side of the case and the top of the Ultra 120.
