Re: A mini/midi-tower case for a 6 drives NAS

As stated above, welcome to SPCR. I also have one of these PSU's kicking around, I will test it when I get home today for you, but from what I remember it was not noticeably loud. Are you sure it's not your video cards?

For those that don't know, Mike is great! He even measured the inside of the Antec 902 I bought to make sure my oversized motherboard would properly fit. Cheers again Mike, a pleasure to deal with you and help support the site.

If you guys like the general design of FT01 and is hesitant about it, I would encourage you to look past the Bit-tech review and give it a try for yourself. I loved my FT01 until my motherboard arrived. (Rampage II Extreme) I neglected to notice that it was slightly (2.5cm) bigger then ATX spec. I ...

I will post additional pictures of my revisited PC asap. Next steps : 1/ uncovering free PCI vents to see whether I'm better off leaving them open or covering them. 2/ Buying some damping material (eg accoustipack) as I really can't see what I can do at this point to further decrease overall noise....

You're a modder - make it happen. I noticed a big difference in originally using the front fan and then moving it back to the end of the upper cage.

I have to agree with ridegd - you could spend my donation on beer and it would be well spent in my opinion. I get lots of ideas / reviews from here so it's all good in my eyes. I do like the idea of the sound isolation room, and would love to see it built from top to bottom. Some reviews of the othe...

are you running the top case fan as well? I have the same setup and I was running my q6600 @ 3.4Ghz with a naked Ninja Rev B. I have both tricools on low and it did get hot but not unstable.. So if you're not going to OC it then you'll be fine. my Asus p5k-premium has the CPU very close to those top...
