Recommended Fans for Abit IP35 Pro MB in P182 case
I've order the Abit IP35 Pro Motherboard to install in the popular P182 case. The MB has a 4-pin CPU fan header, and then five additional 3-pin fan header, so there is enough to have bios control of every fan in the case. the stock fans have molex connectors, and I wasn't going to use those fans. I ...

The 4 HD's in the bottom chamber will be somewhat thermally isolated (along with the power supply), from the MB, and other heat producing elements in the system. You might want to check the temperature in the lower section of the case and pick the fan for down there that gives you the result you wan...

I like the appearance of this case and I'm trying to figure out the airflow in the case. I guess the PSU compartment is separate from the rest for airflow & pulls air in from the side and out the back? Then, I assume that the two fans in the right rear near the CPU are both exhaust fans. So does the...

I believe in one of the many reviews of the p180/182 found that the Drives actually ran cooler in the lower bay. Modern high efficiency power supplies don't produce much heat so the lower compartment is cooler than the upper area. They also suggested that you tape off the air input holes that are at...

Doing the mod on a P182 case
I just completed the mod on my new P182 case. The only very minor difference is that there are only 4 rivets holding in the little square bracket that is removed as a part of the mod. As pictured at the top of the thread, the little bracket actually does have 6 holes in it, but there are only 4 hole...

Looks like a great mod for both P180 and P182 to me
I just got my P182 today. I looked at the lower chamber, etc. and it appears identical to the photo's of the P180 used for the mod. :) I don't see any problem with doing the mod on the Antec cases. Losing the ability to route cables behind the HD cage doesn't matter, because I don't think anyone wou...

Case mod for Antec P182 to relocate lower fan?
There was an excellent topic posted a few months ago in this forum about modifying an Antec P180 case to install a fan in front of the HD cage - instead of the stock location between the cage and PSU where it interfers with wiring. Has anyone tried this mod with a P182 case? And if so, any pointers ...
