I can't believe they are not out there, but I've been Googling and browsing for one for two nights already and haven't seen one. Hi it is possible to use a 4 pin PWM fan such as the arctic cooling ones that they supply with the arctic freezer pro 7. From this article http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/Graphics/8800GT_TR_HR-03_with_Fan.html they say that the order of which the wires are: NVIDIA <---------------> Arctic Cooling mini-P...

Hi, i think it's possible an adaptor exists but don't know where you'd get it. You could cut the original one off and plice/join/solder the wire for new fan in to it. You could see is can get another stock heatsink off ebay to take fan connector off if don't want to damage your own otherwise think ...

Anyone know if a 3pin fan to 4pin GPU fan adapter exists?

Anyone know if a standard 3pin fan plug to 4pin GPU fan adapter exists?
Or anywhere that sells the plug and pins?

if you have a fan controller give San Ace 109R1212H1011 a look made in Japan by Sanyo Denki although this is not silent fan unless you run it at around 7 volts but still move good amount of air at decent static pressure http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=33...

I have 4x 1450rpm models on 2x PA120.2s controlled by speedfan.

I chose them over the S-Flex hoping they will last longer as they are ball bearing fans and are mounted horizontally.

How much power would I need for 20 hard drives?

I plan on building a storage server and I just tried using the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator. The recommended PSU wattage was ~900W. Is that much power necessary?

The hard drives I plan on using will be Seagate 1.5TB 7200.11's.

From what I've read in some forums these are suppose to be the best fans for water cooling radiators.

But what is the actual noise level when undervolted? Can it be undervolted to a noise level comparable to a Nexus Real Silent or Scythe Jyuni (800rpm) 120mm?
