What I don't get is why you closed all holes with duct-tape, reversed your intake fan into an exhaust fan, and made a downwards airflow at the CPU. What's your intake, and why is the warm air going downwards? Imo you're doing it wrong. A reversed ATX should not be half-reversed. I think you can make...

That cosmos is HUGE. But i didnt expect it is can be quiet. Because of the huge space. I thougt it would be harder to cool because there is much space between components. But that looks pretty darn silent. It's pretty silent. In fact, as an out-of-the-box case it's way more silent than many others....

I really don't see the use of this. It's not a case, and as a benching table or test system there are way better options. This construction-thingy is not useful for placing hardware, and is way too small to be able to test all kinds of systems with all kinds of cooling. Quick testers in stores test ...

Sparkle 9600GT (passive) buzzes at full load
At full load, the Sparkle 9600GT (Cool-pipe version) slightly buzzes/beeps, in proportion to the fps the card gives. Just so you guys know when buying this passive card: It is not silent while gaming. In case that's something you want, the Sparkle 9600GT is NOT your way to go, HD3850's neither I hea...

A tip for anyone who buys this: do replace the fans, I changed them for Nexus ones, one with screwmounts, and three new-style fans with rubber mounts, and this definitely makes a difference with the just loud CoolerMaster fans (even at 5v). About the fancontroller issue, there is a few millimeters o...

Anyway, are you able to just pull the LED on your controller off? And can't you just pull off your knobs and look for shorter replacement from electrical stores or make something yourself? Well, that's the problem... The LEDs are soldered to the board, and it's not clear whether they are in a row o...

Legal issues will be useless, to start off with. Actually, is the power socket you are using for the computer grounded? By the way, don't forget that if Antec helps you out with RMA they're being nice to you, as they don't have to. Usually, RMA goes via the reseller ;) Oh, and SPCR really isn't goin...

I see you have missed the point. This controller is completely software independent once configured. You can shut down the application and throw away the USB cable, as you will never have to go in there again - unless the configuration needs adjustment. I bought this exactly for the reason of me wa...

That's one nice fancontroller, yea. However, I'll HAVE to control this by some program, which isn't really what I want. I do want to be able to control the fans without having to depend on some OS or driver, as I also want to control fans when I'm busy in the BIOS, some bootdisk, or while gaming. Be...

I don't see why it would affect the secondary fan. I believe that one only kicks in when the temperature gets too hot. And I'm going to assume that the always-on just means it supplies a steady 5V to the fan. Thought that too, just want to be ffs before I fry my PSU 8) Is this the one that's powere...

Hi there.. I've got a PSU with two 80mm fans, the Antec SP-500 (It came with my TX1050B and I still use it). There's one fan on the inside of the case, a thin one, which is always on. Then there's a regular-sided 80mm in the back which will start running whenever it's needed (only seen that like twi...

Looking for a fancontroller w/o 'tall' buttons
OK, been lurking here for a while now, and got myself quite a silent system alltogether. Here are current full specs, and as you can see I've got a Vantec NXP-201 fancontroller with four Nexus 120mm's on it (well, already have one, the others will be installed tomorrow). As you may know, the vantec ...
