Re: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD

Can you make a test in the case of black-out? I red a round-up of 15 different SSDs subjected to interruption of energy supply: after this test only 3 of them were fully workibg while the others lost data stored or had a breakdown. I hope I wrote in a correct English.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Mugen 3 or Mine 2?

Hi masters and friends! I'm looking for answers about the CPU coolers. My desktop PC is malfunctioning, I need a new one, and I bought the Audioengine A5+ after I red the review of SPCR. The A5+ sound excellently so I want for my new PC a very good cooling and a very quiet working. I've red about th...

New measures?

Hi, I saw different numbers for the Nexus fan. Are these more correct values for the Nexus because taken in the anechoic chamber? In this case are you planning to test the other fans too and update the round-ups?
Thank you.

Wasn't better to buy this instead of the anemometer? It can measure the static pressure too. I asked just for curiosity the price of the smallest model and they replied $ 5500. http://www.fantester.com/ If you're interested I can give you in pvt the 2 pdf they sent me. I don't want to seem to advert...

In my opinion something's wrong with the heatsinks... As I said some posts ago two forumers of our Italian silent PC site had different experiences with the Noctua UP12. One says the P12 fan is extremely noisy once mounted on the heatsink; the other says the heatsink is the quieter he ever listened...

Truly I can't understand the usefulness of a double test... If I have to buy a heatsink I look to the best results of the model by itself. Then I select the best termal greese. I will use the stock compound only if it's the best available. If you're looking for the BEST: http://benchmarkreviews.com/...

Erssa you're right, but different termal compounds mean different scores and a good test should give an idea of the performances of the heatsinks by themselves (project, materials, manufacturing, and so on). For termal compunds there are a lot of excellent rounds up on the web.

Again, I can hardly believe to 33 decibels! Mike, did you measured the sound with the P12 fan mounted on the heatsink? I ask a forumer of the Italian site related to silent computing I usually attend and he told me the P12 fan is the best 12x12 fan he ever tested but once mounted on the heatsink (he...

Well, Nanoxia are made in Germany and they come in different models (www.nanoxia.com or www.nanoxia.de). There are slow and fast fans. The faster fans are more noisy but they are very quiet by the way and have a great airflow. I red only enthusiast reviews but the reviewers always didn't have instru...

Why not Nanoxia???

Hello to everybody, this is my first post on SPCR. Luckly I've found you by a link in a forum of my country. I saw your 12mm rounds up and I found the tests very well done. Now the problem: I bought two SilenX iXtrema 14 db and after a mounth I broke both. I heard on a forum of a man who had problem...
