I bet it'll be cooler if you reverse the fans. Heat rises so there is little chance that exhaust fan is doing all that much exhausting, most likely is that you are cooking you dvd drive and the heat is just escaping through the upper front of the chassis. I could be wrong though.

I was actually waiting til the new Noctua NP12's get reviewed. They look promising, come with 2 adapters to lower the speed to 2 levels and seemingly push more air at similar noise levels. I think the current setup I'm running will be best for my system, I taped up the back exit and the bottom chamb...

I hate zalman products. I've had 2 zalman coolers, both the fans bearings went within months and I can't get in touch with anyone in the EU to complain. They are robbing gets that make novelty 'silent' products as far as I am concerned.

I just got a 450vx and its a cracking supply. I can now only hear air and slight reverberation in my p182. I reckon with a bit of damping and more careful fan placement my system will be practically silent.
