interesting. but i gave up. after contacting gigabyte several times and them not being able to replicate the problem, i went out and got an abit ip35-pro which works great with my e8400. luckily, my sister needed a pc built for her so i paired the ep35-ds3r w/ an e6300 and it seems to be doing well!

please do yourself a favor and get the IP35 Pro. It is seriously a solid board and works great with the new 45nm cpu's.

The EP35-DS3R has given me nothing but issues w/ my E8400.
