Re: Fanless VGA Cards list -- a start!

PowerColor just got a new fanless card out: http://www.powercolor.com/global/products_features.asp?id=535#Specification PowerColor SCS3 R9 270 2GB GDDR5 Interesting card even at 150W but I can't find it for sale anywhere. It'd be nice to see a R7 360 fanless since it is only 100W or an R7 370 fanle...

Re: 100% failure rate on Antec Power supplies..

I agree completely. Antec used to be a name I felt like I could really trust in power supplies. I had 2 newish Antec green powers go out on me and one of them violently popped and cracked, scaring the daylights out of me and had me concerned it would catch fire. Not only that but overall the last 4 ...

As if celeron equals suckage. Id much rather have a modern celeron than that old sempron based on 2009 technology.

I started folding for the first time ever last week for the good old SPCR team now that I finally have a modern CPU. I hope this bumps us up. :) I leave it running almost 24/7 only taking breaks to game now and then.

I'm confused on why scythe makes so many different models of heatsinks. There's so many to choose from, not sure how you'd decide which one to get. I think that graphic on the top of the Ninja 3 is somewhat tacky.

I can tell there is no way for it to fit just by looking at it. I'll post a pic here of the back of the MB and PSU when I feel like messing with this catastrophe again.

Regarding your hardware: -Unless there is something special about AMD mATX boards, having an mATX shouldn't cause problems with heat sinks. There are definitely reasons to go full size over mATX, but I don't think heat sink choice is one of them. -GPU's are definitely stupidly noisy (part of the re...

Ninja 2 questions

1. Does it come with a 90MM fan clip?
2. Where is a good place to buy one from? I can't find one with a vendor i'm familiar with. Have they been discontinued?
3. Any issue's with blocking your ram slots?
4. Will it fit in an Antec NSK3480?

Thanks!

Ok I think I may have found the problem here. I've been asking about the Seasonic SSA-0651-1 like I was able to find on the manufacture's link I gave and like I bought on the censusPC page. Now that I have broken out my magnifying glass it looks like the one that Mike used was a Seasonic SSA-0601S-1...

Re: AM3 power consumption in AM2 motherboard?

Does anybody here know whether efficiency of the Socket AM3 CPUs is affected by running them in an older Socket AM2 board, such as my MSI K9AG Neo2-Digital? I'm currently using an Athlon X2 BE-2350 (AM2) undervolted to 0.875V @1.0GHz, 1.075V @2.1GHz. This runs at just the right temperature with a S...
