I would guess the 140mm is better. I'm hoping anyways because I have the 590 and haven't gotten all of my parts (so haven't put it together yet) but was going to put two YL 140mm on the top and pne on the side, two Noctua 120mm in the front and the 120mm Slipstream 800 in the back. But was going to ...

@ Neil, sure can ;). Stacker 830. http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?act=detail&id=14 According to the specs you can put 120mm fans in that case but it doesn't say anything about putting 140mm fans in there. Front fan x 3,top fan x 1, rear fan x 1,side fan x 4, ( side fan tray can be ...

120mm to 140mm adapter

Anyone know where I can get 120mm to 140mm fan adapters? I want to place a couple of 140mm fans but need to fit them to 120mm holes.

In case of fans, the current doesn't change when undervolting. If you connect the fans in series, your theoretical maximum current will be 0.7 A and under the limit. (As a bonus, this automatically "undervolts" each fan to 6 V.) If you connect the fans in parallel, and then run them off a single fa...

Relationship between voltage and ampere

What is the relationship between these two when voltage is decreased? I want to connect tow fans to one channel of a fan controller. The fan runs at 12v and .7A each at maximum. The channel can receive up to 1.0 A. If I buy a cable for each fan that undervolts it to 7v each then combine the two with...

If I were to add nylon clips or P clips on the bottom of the drive (both front and back) and have holes on both sides of the 5.35 cage, could I just use nylon cords, one on each side to tie them down? Seems like it wouldn't transfer the vibration, the clips will keep them from sliding backwards or f...
