Where did you get yours I can't seem to find them yet?

Acellero S1 wont fit the HD4770. I'am speaking from personal experience. So far the only cooler that will fit is the Scythe Musashi. The conflict is the chip on the 4770 is farther back than previous cards.

I'am currently waiting for the Acellero L2 Pro which is supposed to come out this month.

I seriously did not relise the fan was so small compared the the heatsink itself on the ninja mini. It could easily fit a 92mm looks like.

i'm not too sure what to think of this. all i see is a well thought out system using quiet parts, and a fan that is set to turn on at a certain temp- as opposed to increasing in speed (kinda like some notebooks). the ultimate test for a passive system is to keep temps under control in a hot environ...

I'd honestly rather have fans, and my hardware running as cool as possible and have it last as long as possible.

Having a system fanless and barely making it by just wouldn't work for me.

Vertigo, I agree with you on the spreading part. I personally do it similar. I put a drop on the cpu (after a few systems I kinda know how much to drop) then I take an old credit or gift card and kinda bend it and spread the paste around the chip. It takes me a while but I like to get it perfect. Th...

A few things you could do is this: Feel the heat pipes if they are hot you have alright contact, if they are cool then you aren't getting good contact. Then feel the fins are they hot or cool. If they're hot you aren't getting the air off the heat sink and outta the case? If you are in fact have con...

I think the power supply will be questionable for that 8800GT, also it doesn't look like the right side panel even comes off. Another thing you will want to keep in mind is it looks like the fan openings are 92 and 80mm.

I got a solution unfortunatly I forget how to do it LOL. Basically randomly today when I tryed updating i got a Windows Error Report crap and it said to enter a line into CMD and it actually fixed it. Apparently theres some problems on W7 64 with MSI Installer.

I'm on W7 64 which might as well be Vista64 as far as drivers are concerned and I can't get 9.1 to install, but I also cant even uninstall my current drivers, I also can no longer access my CCC. All these above actions lead to a crash. It all started after I clicked the Avivo category in CCC. I've h...

I also have this card. The fan on mine stays at the same speed always, at least I think it does. It's only a 2 pin connector so any chance for software fan control is null.

You could edit the bios and set fan speeds based on temperatures if your willing to walk that road.

I'm pretty sure filling the fan spaces because they are just there is a result of OCD, not Asperger syndrome. I may be thinking with ignorance but my understanding is that Asperger affects your social behavior.

Anyone experimented with that HP MediaSmart Server thing ?

Ive been kinda intrigued by that HP Media Server everyones talking about (mainly on podcasts). I am very interested in buying one. However, I'd much rather run some other form of NAS due to the elimination of any proprietary hardware and software restrictions. So I was curious how well the software ...

Or is this even for a case, possible a cabinet? Or desk?

I lean towards water cooling more for temperatures rather than silence, but in both respects you might as well liquid cool every single component you can find blocks for, or nothing at all.

Just my opinion.

Why would anyone sane consider a sealed/all-in-one liquid cooling outfit. A) They're usually jank. B) Only set-up for processors, which means this doesn't eliminate any fans, and just adds pump noise. These set-ups sometimes require more fans to compensate for the fact the fan on this rad is not goi...

cathodes for a computer are a regulated 12v, they don't just suck power, but even though they appear to use a fan header, the cathode itself would not be getting the regulated power, that's why they come with their own inverter for it, not to mention all the possible means of mounting both light an...
