Re: First Impressions: Nexus Silent Mouse
Sounds good, thanks. Even if it doesn't turn out to be that great I could use a spare wireless mouse, and it's pretty cheap from Multitronic right now.

Re: First Impressions: Nexus Silent Mouse
Thanks for the review. I was wondering, does this technology only reduce noise, or is the resistance/feedback when clicking also lowered? A noiseless mouse would be great, but I would also like a mouse that didn't have so terribly much resistance in the buttons. I see there's also another quiet mous...

Samsung F2 HD502HI dead?
I bought a Samsung F2 HD502HI a year ago and have been very happy with it. However a week or so back I started getting sluggish performance when browsing certain folders of the disk and got the occasional "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" blue screen during start-up. Decided to run Hitachi's Drive Fitness T...

Dang, that's not the answer I was hoping for. The fan was a pain to attach with those rubber plugs. And I actually already have the Crossbow kit, I should probably have mentioned that, but maybe I didn't fasten it the right way. When you attach the heatsink are you supposed to screw in one of the sc...

Appropriate temperatures for my new build?
Hi, After having endured my Athlon XP2000+/6600GT combination for quite a while I finally decided to upgrade. The system I got was the following: Antec Solo Intel Q8400 Xigmatek S1283 heatsink with Nexus 120mm fan Sapphire HD 4670 Ultimate (passive) Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3 Corsair 2x2GB XMS2 Samsung F2...

Interesting results no doubt. I was actually waiting for a passive 4850, but this seems to perform decently as well. I would be running it in idle and for HTPC purposes much more than I would use it for gaming, and combined with the much lower price, power usage and temperature means I might have to...

If you check comments on the news of this card most of them are laughing that it's impossible, going to fry etc. apparently not knowing how bad the stock cooler really is, despite being active. Anyway this is the card I'm waiting for, hopefully it's not too expensive. And as a 12mm fan would be a go...
