I'd recommend 2 120mm S-Flex E or Slipstream M for the front intakes. For the rear 80mm fan I suggest the Noctua NF-R8 or the Kama Flow SA0825FDB12SL. You could use any of the above on the M-Ninja as well. No need for the other fans. Being a positive pressure case, air will naturally be flowing out ...

Since the point is being overriden with/by excuses, I find no reason to continue participating to this thread. However I will tell you how the story ends.. ..I took the fans back to the store. I was simply going to leave them there, as I didn't find it reasonable to make any claims over them; it wa...

Would you recommend using the S-Flex E on my NH-C12P or the included NF-P12?

If you don't plan on gaming, why not skip the GPU and go with a G45 board?

the Q6600 is also 65nm I believe, so if efficiency/low heat is your goal you may want to move to a 45nm CPU

in a mATX case I also highly recommend getting a modular PSU, the Corsair HX series perhaps

I agree with the OP. If the fans are labeled the same as the better fans, D12SL, then Nexus is clearly being dishonest. You'd think they would at least send him the proper fans if he politely requested them. I'm glad I bought Scythe products for my next build.

1) the complexity of trying to pull that off with vertically mounted drives bays that had to be removable, and 2) in most media PC apps, the silicone rubber grommets by themselves do a good enough job of isolation. Media PCs generally don't have to be as quiet as a desktop home PC; when they're bei...

you could try the slowest 140mm Yate Loon if the stick fan bothers you.

http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/p_spec.php?pno=kl01&area=usa Then buy another HDD cage and you'll be all set. http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/p_contents.php?pno=CFP52B&area=usa The HDDs are soft mounted and the case is steel, so vibrations should be minimal. You would be running a posi...

I'm going to be using this case with three (one on the CPU cooler) 120mm Scythe S-Flex E fans with fan controllers. http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/p_spec.php?pno=kl01&area=usa I will be spending some extra cash to install AcoustiPack Ultimate dampener sheets and blocks inside the case and in...
