BTW- will adding the S2 cooler void the warranty of the graphics card?
What do people make of the ASUS EAH3650 SILENT MAGIC 512MB graphics card. It says 0db but i'm not sure if it would fit in my case/motherboard (Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L or Asus P5KPL-AM)

Cheap & quiet graphics card to fit the NSK1380?
Could someone recommend a half-decent graphics card (for light gaming) which costs under £50 and fit's the Antec NSK1380. I've come up with the following so far: 1) Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 512MB DDR2 - £43 2) Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 512MB DDR3 - £50 3) Sapphire Radeon HD2600 XT 256MB DDR2 - £50 ...

hmm, might just be easier to get a svideo-->SCART cable actually, they only seem to be a few quid :) Cant' seem to find a S775 mobo with svideo output on the back so i'm looking at getting a cheap motherboard, such as the ASUS P5N-MX , MSI P6NGM-L or the XFX nForce 630i and sticking a cheapo graphic...

btw- is this the adaptor you refer to? I assume that the svideo would just provide the video signal and 3.mm audio lead would go into the sound card as i'm currently doing?

matx board with composite TV output?
I'm looking for a socket 775 matx motherboard with a composite (I think) connector on the back to hook it up to my TV. Currently, i've got a wire (seems to be like ebay item # 330274375902) going from my graphics card to my TV scart socket, so I'm after a motherboard with integrated graphics with th...

Can't seem to find much at retailers about it, except this which says to expect stock on the 3rd of november

no worries andy, would much rather know now rather than after purchasing it :) Although, i've just had a look at the user manual and it says you only need about 2.5cm unrestricted above the vent, I should have about 10cm so I would imagine this will be ok? Still leaves a couple of issues though, one...

Thanks for the advice. Thought I had it nearly sorted lol, back to square one then :) Could you recommend a case to fit my requirements please, I was looking at the shuttle cases before but someone advised me against them as well. And, would any gigabyte/MSI mobo under £50 be fit for the job? Same ...

I can't find any benchmarks comparing the E5200 to the 4850e, do you know which one is supposed to be better? What about an intel alternative? Was really looking to build an intel system just for a change this time round as i've always gone for an AMD in the past :) Also, how does the "Seagate 500GB, 32MB Cache" compare to the samsung, it's only £2 more and it has double the cache, not sure what it's like ...

Thanks, I may go for the Asus P5N-MX as it supports DDII 800 and has an ATA connector which will be useful when transferring stuff across as my current HD is ATA. I assume it would be ok to upgrade it with a half decent graphics card at a later date? Are there any other boards you would recommend fo...

if you want to go budget, then I am affraid Intel is bit... expensive. You would do better with AMD X2 4850e and some AMD 780G Chipset or nVidia 8200 chipset. I've tried finding some benchmarks to find out how much difference there is between the 2 processors but haven't had much luck. The price di...
