Re: Another year, another... Machine? ... But not very silen

Why would it be loud? Two radiators should easily keep all components cool under idle/office/multimedia conditions with the fans at >500 rpm. Sure, when you stress the system the fans will have to rev up, but I don't think it will classify as "loud". The noisiest component will be that hard disk. T...

Re: Another year, another... Machine? ... But not very silen

Well it's nice PC but your choice of components is very poor for a slient pc. Most of what you bought are known to be extremely loud. You've built towards performance rather then slience it's possible to strike balance but two times ultra jet plane sounding GTX 470 are the worst. Case will have to ...

Another year, another... Machine? ... But not very silent

Dear Forum users, I am putting together a brand new machine, however I will have a bad time trying to silence it! Just so I can share with you, here is what I bought... - Evga X58 Classified 4-way SLI (e762); - Intel Core I7 950; - 6 GB - Corsair DDR3 Dominator GT 1866Mhz ( not arrived yet ); - West...

Hello Netmask254, The H50 is very silent, at least for me, I did not hear any noise from it.. Originally the H50 is designed to push air IN, so hot air remain inside the case... I tried swaping the temperature difference was not that big, but if i remember it right i was around 5 to 7 more... The pu...

Help with Nexus LOW-7000 - Please!!

Dear forum users, Recently I bought a Nexus LOW-7000 for my HTPC, I have to say that it is excelent, however it has a very HIGH PITCHED SOUND that drives me nuts! I tried emailing Nexus asking for instructions on how to replace the PWM fan, however I got no reply. My question to you is, how do I rem...

Dunno why, but the layout of that case looks awfully messy/non optimized or something.. The front fan is just pushing air into the case, while the HDD-cage is nowhere near the fan and seems to be designed mainly to block the use of any proper graphic cards! :D Maybe I'm just nit-picking, but after ...

bonestonne, Yup! You are right, the back fan is blowing air IN, simply because the MCP/GPU was a bit too hot! And doing that I could make the temps get some 5C better! However... I will install the Nexus Low 7000 CPU cooler, which should help with temps, so then I will flip the back exhaust fan. Als...
