It's done. Guru of 3D did it. Noise wise, MSI wins.

Computer Base reviewed the RTX 3090 variant of Suprim. If I got them, the card was very bad and not so quiet!

Re: U14S2 and A14x25
I don't get why they don't move to 38mm thick on 140, given that the standard has been 25mm, this would allow them to scale the fan fully which seems to be the problem that they don't seem to be able to scale the NF-A12x25 to 140mm, personally would be more attractive if we not only get a bigger fa...

Re: Gonna buy a 3900x which is the MOST silent fan for it?
I have seen on Overclock.net that ARO-M14 may be better than big coolers like Le Grand Macho and NH-D15 just because it has a concave to flat base instead of convex base the other has (because they are Intel oriented rathar than AMD). If I am not wrong NH-U12A is neutral in that matter, that is, it...

Re: Gonna buy a 3900x which is the MOST silent fan for it?
At your guess which is the best heatsink for Ryzen 9 to be used with one or more NF-A12x25? I am inspired by this video, but he still used an NF-A15 in the center. I wonder if there would be too much performance loss with a pair of NF-A12x25. Why do I want that? Just because sound signature (all fan...

For the CPU? I currently have NOCTUA NH-D15S but I am horribly disappointed with the noise level. Also, it seems that some sort of hybrid GPU is the way to go if I want a below-30dB PC. What do you suggest for placing radiators for the CPU/GPU coolers; top, front, bottom? I do no, but take a look o...

I am not comparing SW3 140 with SW3 120. be quiet! has indeed changed its SW3 140 in its geoetry.
Original SW3 140 has 7 blades as you can see below.

No more incongruity. The fan of Dark Rock 4 series is NOT the Silent Wings 3.
I just wonder why be quiet did that. Something like static pressure, improved sound characteristics or just it is a shame.

Re: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 series and Silent Wings 3 incongru
CPU coolers using different fans than the normal retail offerings are not that much of an incongruity. Arctic Cooling, Noctua and Scythe amongst others have done this. Some of them are continuing to do it. Maybe it's because they are willing to modify an existing product to get the best possible pe...

Everyone knows Silent Wings 3 140mm has 7 blades. However the new Dark Rock coolers include a modified SW3 140mm whose counting of blades are 9!

Re: Noctua PWM fan low-frequency hum
Imo the NF-A14 is not that great, not bad but nothing to brag about, its a decent fan. Certain fans have certain ranges that they produce certain resonance, try as steve suggested to lower it more, 750rpm for the palit is not needed, the cooler itself is design to run without a fan, so just pushing...

Re: Z370 chipset, processor and motherboard choice
Abula, I got you, but I still have a doubt (as I posted on another thread). Even if you can not MANUALLY switch between PWM and DC in Chafan1 and Chafan2, yet, as the motherboard can auto-detect whether DC or PWM, it can control DC fans? Or these would be at 100% when these headers are used with DC...
