Got the Dayton amp today and testing it out.
It does sound nice but, slight channel imbalance at low level and the dreaded pop when turning it on or off :(

Thanks Steve. I ordered the DTA-100a to try out and see how it is. If it's a fail will go for the Scythe.

Re: Shootout: Antec 3480 vs. Silverstone TJ08?

I realize this is far from a new discussion, but if, right now, you were looking for a case for an 1156 based microATX system, big enough for a Thermalright 120 and a GTX 260 video card (with aftermarket cooling), which would you choose? Antec 3480? Silverstone TJ08? Or a different microATX case? P...

I thought I read a while back that an NSK-3480 update was in the works. Can't really think of what all they could change about it, though. Only two things that come to mind immediately are (1) 120mm intake instead of 2x92mm and (2) some holes placed around the PSU and motherboard for routing cables...

Antec update

Anyone knows if Antec is planning an update to some of their cases? What is their typical update cycle?
Basically I would like to know if they are planning an update to P183, NSK3480 and possibly to the older Solo.
Thanks.

NSK3480 HD temps

Hello, I'm wondering if any of you NSK3480 owners are worried about HD temps when mounted in top bay. Speedfan 4.40 shows the HD temp at 46 C. It's WD 1 Tb drive. I do have neatly drilled holes in the plastic front cover just to give it more air but it's not helping much. I have another HD on the bo...

Antec NSK 3480 is your best bet. With a simple hole in the upper and lower chamber you can have wires behind MB tray. This one fits full size cooler too without obstructing HDs. You have plenty of areas where you can put SSDs or HDs

I have a Lian-Li B25 and absolutely love it. It's a smaller mid tower computer case. It has sound dampened panels and door. The one thing to note though is that it has a blue ring on the front panel... you'll either love it or hate it. However, if you do love it, it IS very well made. Yeah the Lian...

PC-A03

Reviving an old thread. PC-A03, yeah the 92 mm back fan is not desired as much as I want a 120 mm but I doubt it will make a big difference overall, keep in mind that the Lian Li is .75 inches narrower than the NSK3480. Also the PS will exhaust heat coming from the Video card as it's an inverted mot...

since you are working with negative case pressure... what if you cut a 120mm hole in the bottom of the case, with the fan blowing out the hole, instead of blowing air towards the video card? you'd probably have to get another fan in order to reverse the mounting, and maybe create a bit of short duc...
