My attempt to purchase a 24" monitor has so far consisted of returning two Samsung 2443BW's due to excessive buzzing when brightness is lowered I know what you mean, i have the 2243BW (i think that's the name, the 22" one anyways) and it doesn't buzz at lower brightness, but buzzes when i turn it o...

I know i might get flamed for this, but the new AMD Phenom II's are really good processors. And you will probably be able to get a system for cheaper with comparable performance. They also run pretty darn cool. My tri-core is overclocked 500mhz to 3.3ghz on stock voltage and it runs 22-25 idle and n...

Simply based off of my experiences. I just built a computer with 3 hard drives and a Sapphire 4870. I originally bought a SOLO but once i got all the drives, the graphics card, and the wires in, i found it was just too cramped for my liking. Not to mention the 4870 took up one spot of my HD cage. I ...

I guess theres not much chance of the 500gb being much better is there. I've ordered 3 500gb for my new system. I plan to raid 0 two of them for my boot drive and then use the other one for storage. Hopefully it wont be too bad, most reviews and tests of the 500gb seem to fair better. Well, none the...

I just posted some info on the Reeven RCCT-0901SP in another thread (viewtopic.php?t=52309). That looks like is orients to the exhaust and is cheaper than most other options. There is also a post to a review on it in the thread.

I was thinking of getting the OCZ Vendetta 2 since its onsale currently, but as soon as i found out it faces the psu. I figured there had to be a better option, so i was looking at the Sunbeam and the Noctua but they all seemed too pricey. I decided to look into the Reeven and it does look like it o...

Quiet Case < $100
Hello, I've started reading around SPCR as i am building a new pc that i want to be powerful yet quiet. I must say you guys do know your stuff. Through the reviews, I've opted to get an Enermax Modu82+, but i've also been looking at the Corsair HX620, but that is for another forum post. I've been lo...
