I am between the 2 4670 Passively Cooled Graphics Cards The Sapphire has 512MB GDD3 while His has 1GB DD3 Which one do you recommend ? For a low wattage chip like the E8500 you can come up with a sink/fan that is a lot quieter. The other thing you can accomplish is to leave Intel's funky push pin mounting behind. An efficient heatsink with a low speed Nexus fan should keep an E8500 cool and be silent outside the case.

A bigger problem may be emerging with SSD's. Serious slow downs from fragmentation, at least on MLC designs, would seem to be a serious issue. Serious slowdowns are being reported.
