Why u didn't go for an Antec Three Hundred case with Scythe Orochi Heatsink? That was a much better combination! Temps were probably much lower then.

It's always the best to get the largest cpu-heasink you can get and a big tower case with much air holes at the top if you want to cool things passive.

Seems there isn't much difference between the A71GL, A72GL, A73GL.
Current/Power/Speed/Air Flow/Pressure/Noise are the same on all these A7*GL models according to this pdf: http://www.addausa.com/specifications/92-120.pdf

I think it's the same for the A70GL.

Thanks for the reply. Very useful info. I will only use 1 SSD in the system and no harddrives. I saw a few topics about replacing ADDA AD1212MB-A71GL for a S-Flex 1600. My only question is: What type ADDA fan does the S12II 330 Bronze have? I saw the new Seasonic S12II 520 has a ADDA AD1212MB-A 70 G...

How silent is the S12II 330 Bronze? Can you hear it with a system with one fan running at 400rpm (and no harddrive noise). I'm planning to get one of these in an almost passively cooled system.

When will SPCR test this S12II 330 Bronze?

Yes, i want to cool it in pure passive mode, so i need the biggest HS possible. The Orochi will sit at the top of the case (Thermaltake V3 has a lot of air holes at the top). So all heat of the heatsink can directly leave the case. The powersupply will have it's fan at the bottom so it doesn't use t...

I think that S3 bug has something to do with G.Skill memory. All people in that thread were using G.Skill memory. If it was such a big bug there should be alot more people in that thread.

Louder then the Seasonic-built Earthwatts? Wow! The 380 Earthwatts in my NSK3480 was already pretty loud! Loud whooshing airflow sound. I'm curious if Seasonic S12II 330 Bronze is quieter then the non-bronze version. It probably uses the same fan, but maybe the fancontroller is improved? I Want to k...

Anyone here that owns this adapter. How is the quality? Does this FSP brick have low ripple on +12v? I'm searching for a very good quality brick for the PicoPSU 150XT. FSP looks a very good brand for adapters l(ike Seasonic is for ATX PSU's).

Do you think the Be quiet L7 300 produce less noise then a 500rpm fan? Less than a S-Flex @500 rpm used as a system fan (in free air or for a different application the same fan will sound quieter). I could also use the ST40NF Silverstone Nightjar 400watt. It has a better efficiency then the Nexus Value 430. Fits also perfectly in my case (NSK3480 with vents on the top). Fan-Noise: Nexus Value 430 vs Be quiet! L7 300

Which one is more silent in low load? It's important for me because my PC has only one fan at 500rpm and 1 ssd. The room is death silent, so the PSU can make a difference of day and night.

But i think the fan will spin faster if it's mounted to the back of the case. It cannot move the heat out of the heatsink directly. So alot warmth stays in the heatsink and that causes overal higer cpu temps that make the fan run faster then 400rpm i think. On the other hand, i think the Mugen is to...

Did you try different adapters? The PicoPSU uses the 12v line directly from the adapter. So if the adapter has high ripple-noise the audio quality can get worser. I'm also considering a PicoPSU to build an audio-pc or htpc. But I wish there was a list were I could see the jitter of all AC-DC adapters.

Both have more then 1" gap I think. Maybe the Scythe Mugen 2 is a better option to use as HS? It reaches closer to the back of the case. But it's also bigger. I want to use a PicoPSU with my Antec NSK3480, so I want to remove the orginal PSU to give my SSD and DVDRW more heatroom (in the upper chamber). But I can't find any psu backplates/brackets to close the PSU bay. It seems such brackets/plates don't exist?
