Well the components are not exactly the same, I've gone from Velociraptor to SSD, so load has reduced a little bit.
I'm waiting for an X-400 to arrive before I start the RMA process. Good to have a back up PSU anyway.

Re: Low power system not booting with high efficiency PSU?!
I'm not sure if this is the problem with my Seasonic X-650 or the PSU is simply dying. I've had the X-650 for about 2 years and during the past few months I started to get delayed response to power on, until yesterday PC simply would not turn on. Motherboard's power on button LED is on though, but i...

Re: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB & Momentus 750GB
Thanks for great review!! Looks like WD20EARS is still the quietest drive. It might be a bit slower, but as a data drive that's perfectly fine. Got SSDs to take care of the speed department anyway.

What high quality chipset does it use?zsero wrote:Even on the most basic USB 2.0 models they use really high quality chipsets, and this vertical open-air design is a clear winner both for stable electric connections and drive temperatures!

Re: be-quiet Silent Wings BL001 120mm Fan
I got one today. I used it to replace the Noctua NF-P12 and subjectively speaking I'd say it's at least as quiet if not quieter. For Antec P183 it's good for rear case fan, not for the HDD fans unless you use flat heads screws instead of the supplied silicone ones. For top case fan you'd have to rel...

Re: WD 3TB Green released
The 2.2TB limit issue looks too complicated. How about I just run it as a data drive on 32 bit Win 7? Will I need to bother with extra driver/controller/firmware?
