I see everywhere that people swapped their Stora fan, but my problem is the fact that it needs a small 3 pin connector. I can't seem to find the same FAN (spec-wise) but obviously quieter, using this small 3 pin connector (however it's called). I found the pic of a converter cable on another website...

Did you notice the "noise" difference when you unplugged the FAN? The one coming out of the DC converter? You're right, maybe you could achieve the same thing by lowering the voltage ... but I didn't have a "converter thingy" a the time, and since it worked just fine ... I didn't bother to try anyth...

Let's be clear about this, when watching a movie ... you can't hear a thing (at least ... I couldn't, but we are all different and some people might notice it). If you stick your hear on the box, then yes ... even when playing a movie you'll notice the "electric noise" coming out of it. My "problem/...

Wonderful little box, smaller form factor than the Asus EEE Box, I like the idea of fitting your own memory and HDD ... but very very loud. I can't stand the noise anymore (after 2 days only).
