Thanks for all of the information. I know that some PWM fans have issues with buzzing at certain speeds. Does anyone have any experience, or know of a review, with the Scythe VR and/or Arctic Cooling F12 fans?

Arctic Cooling F12 PWM fans (with multiple fan linking option)

My mobo has 2 PWM headers built-in. Would I still need a splitter because the fans need the same signal on the fourth pin? It seems the mobo would be able to take care of this, but I am not positive on this.
