Re: [After Thoughts] Antec Fusion Remote with Cougar Vortex
When I first bought my MB and Processor, no matter what I did it just wont work. I even got new ram to see if it is compatable.... but it seems that either the motherboard or processor is screwed up, so i returned it and got a new one. What I noticed with the video card is that it fits... but the pr...

SilverStone NT01 or Ninja Mini
I cannot decide between the SilverStone NT01 and the Ninja Mini. It is going inside a Antec Fusion case, so both works without the cpu fan (case fan taking that position) Pictures of what it will look like With Silverstone http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/102/crw204801qc7.jpg/ with Ninja Mini ht...

Re: Qualifed RAM and Qualifed Vendor for RAM Question
Well im thinking of underclocking my video card by 5%, to negate the overclock of 5%... might underclock the entire system by 5% instead to reduce the heat... will that do anything to the longivity of the system?
Aside from that im pretty much only looking for the QVL ram...

Need an alternative to Scythe Ninja Mini thats Discontinued
It looks like the Scythe Ninja mini is retired.... and now im looking for a heatsink that can go into my Antec Fusion case that will benefit from the case fans and wont be using the CPU fan.... I guess the Scythe Big shuriken can do it, but it isnt really suited for the job. Does anyone else know of...

Re: Bulldozer – a funny review but appalling power efficienc
my opinion about new CPUs is that the first one in the series is usually pretty crappy while it gets improved with its successors. Almost always the previous gen chip can usually match or almost match the processing power of the new chip.... (ie Intels first Dual core vs the late P4... not much of a...

Qualifed RAM and Qualifed Vendor for RAM Question
Im in my last phases of building my computer, but it hit me that there are qualifed ram for each motherboard. So then I looked up the motherboard I was going to use ASUS P8Z68-M Pro LGA 1155 a Micro ATX at the Asus website and obtained a Qualifed Vendor List for ram. Which is all fine and dandy... b...

Re: 120[mm] Fan Choices[?]
I plan to put them standing up.. vertical, so no problems on that front. I am kinda looking for both, im doing the Scythe Ninja Mini route inside the Antec Fusion case, so the case fans doubles over as my CPU fan and also kinda triples as the cooling the reverse side of my GPU card. I want it quiet ...

Re: 120[mm] Fan Choices[?]
i know, but its the only spec that I got.... im thinking that the Siletx isnt good based on reviews (it seems like it has a short life). But the cougar is making itself shine on reviews and its stated 300,000 hours of life (which is longer than the Sayano long life fans at 200.000 hours) I am really...

Ok update I am near the final process of building my computer thanks to black friday waiting for cyber monday final deal purchases. After buying the seasonic PSU (its running at $110 for the x750 seasonic), it hit me that if everyone says that the fan on it is quite that I should look into the fan i...

Re: 120 Fan Choices
its going to be mounted vertical (ie standing up). The case in question is the Antec Fusion/NSK2400 which was reviewed in this review http://www.silentpcreview.com/article591-page1.html To get a good idea on the heat that its going to produce: The most heat will be the CPU - i5 (2400 or 2500k) and a...

Antec Fusion/NSK2400 build Help
I am trying to build a HTPC that can be used for gaming. It will also be hooked up to a 40-48 LCD/LED TV. Pretty much I need some advice or recommended replacement of the things that I would want to toss into the case. Most of the choices here are based on the SPCR reviews. So here we go: Case: Fusi...

My laptop is 7 years old, the other computers in my house is 10-15 years old (what ever is my main cpu i leave on 24/7 most of the time).... so...
