Re: Super Flower power supply doesn't fit my Fractal Design
Thanks but it doesn't. The two right screws doesn't fit. Super Flower says they're following the ATX-standard and Fractal Design says they also following the ATX-standard so i don't know who's right. Not implying by the following that you are not right, but have you tested the different holes on th...

Re: Super Flower power supply doesn't fit my Fractal Design
The mounting holes in the case are diagonally mirrored, so if the PSU doesn't fit in one direction it shouldn't fit in the other either. Coming to think of it though... ther might be one reason the PSU can't be mounted either way: The mounting holes are not centered on the PSU, so it needs more (mo...

Re: Super Flower power supply doesn't fit my Fractal Design
I assume that it will end up in the bottom of the case, with the heatsink facing up? That should be fine, as it will put the heatsink where it gets the most airflow. Sorry for a late reply. The problem is that the holes of my Super Flower passive PSU won't fit with the upside facing up in my Fracta...

What i wondered about what you meant by better than around 77% (25W)? A smidgen in excess of. I own the Super Flower Golden Silent. Is it still any good today? The SF Golden Silent 500 is still top notch, IMO. In excess of what? It's efficiency is around 77% when drawing around 25W? Nice to know! T...

At the lower end of this range, a 520 Platinum has an efficiency better than around 77% (25W), the smaller one is better than around 74% (23W), a Corsair RM should be better than around 72% (25W), so it's mainly series-dependant. Anyway, from this very limited survey the difference can be up someth...

Super Flower power supply doesn't fit my Fractal Design case
The holes on the back of my Super Flower power supply doesn't match the holes on the Fractal Design R5 i have. It makes me insane! I thought they were built on the same standard? According to the product page the supply is EPS standard (http://www.super-flower.com.tw/products_detail.php?class=2&sn=1...

You may give a look at the relevant SPCR's reviews (or JonnyGuru's ones), but IMO you should just grab the most economical one.

I can finally say that with this mod and the case fans now controlled with speedfan at around 700rpm, the PC is finally down where I've always wanted it to be. It's genuinel...

Re: Seasonic X-1050 PSU: Gold at Kilowatt+
A midrange gaming PC should use about 600W already if you account for aging, so add another graphics card and overclocking and 1000W isn't that ridiculous anymore. A most ridiculous statement! Most don't need more than 300W and a 400W psu should suffice. Only gamers need about 600W psu's with their...

If you're fine with the the S12 why don't you go with that one? I'd say it's definately one of the better fans I've tried. I just personally like the S-F...

According to this SPR article the Nexus fans are the best? The Nexus fan is seriously overhyped in my opinion. I've tried 8 of them and I have had to throw away 6 of them because they started to "rattle" within one year of usage. I've tried two Noctua NF-S12B and while I like the "smooth" bearing t...

Should i choose the Noctua NF-S12B ULN as front intake fan for the Antec Solo II or the NF-P12 or even the NF-S12FLX? I was thinking of the very fine front intake filters it has.
