Re: Silent micro-switches for Logitech and other mice.

From what I found, there aren't many mice that do have these Kailh switches. And the ones I did try I didn't find to be very good mice unfortunately. Hence why I resorted to replacing switches in my existing mice. My modified G305 is still doing well. The buttons are just a little too easy to press...

Re: Silent micro-switches for Logitech and other mice.

Hi, I have read this very interesting and useful discussion, I currently have a G602, unfortunately the scroll wheel no longer works, I would like to buy a silent wireless mouse with good build quality, I am looking for a sturdy mouse that will last me for years, I don't want spend too much if it is...

Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

After I read your post, so I should be satisfied to reach 65 degrees at full-load, we hope to succeed, 750 rpm at this point seem to me a few full-load, then the Phanteks can help me achieve a lower temperature, mode I think it's fanless heatsink pontente more macho ? even if it costs 80 euros, I do...

Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

However the important thing is not to exceed 55 degrees at full-load. People are weird about temperatures. I don't want to be insulting but are you kidding? It's hard enough to do that with slow fans! The only way to accomplish that goal without watercooling or fans is: -to use a weak low-power CPU...

Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

Thanks again for your explanations Yes, and true, the mobo costs around 40 euros more than the gigabytes, I got mixed with the L-V model that does not have the Expert Fan That means it works with the percentage of the cycle ? The fans then increase according to the load and heat ? Then we go for exa...

Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

To get Fan Xpert 2 you need the Asus P8Z77-V, from sources such as http://www.prokoo.com/asus-1155-p8z77v-z77atxddr3vga-p-50172.html . The P8Z77-V LE and P8Z77-V LX models do not have Fan Xpert 2. Using Fan Xpert 2 with 3 pin fans you can run the fans as slow as their starting voltage. It is possib...

Thank you so much you have been very kind, the list of components is just what we wanted. Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

Which cabinet do you recommend in particular ? Which model ? There are several ones, i.e. you don't need any particular one providing you won't run fanless or encoding all night long. In practice it is impossible to operate a PC without Fan. At this point considering a system with two fans at 500 r...

Re: Project PC inaudible at full-load, aim 8 to 9 decibels

So is it really worth the trouble to make a desktop computer inaudible even when you're trying to sleep? If I'm not wrong, I think he would like to leave his PC on encoding (or another time-consuming task) all night long. I'm not used to do that, but maybe it could prove a bit challenging to achiev...
