There is a purpose for closed corners on these fans. How many coolers have you seen with open corners that are bent by the tightness of the screws? A closed corner allows tightening the screws for situations like radiators with push pull.

Evidence of galvanic corrosion in the Statue of Liberty was found approximately 95 years later.

The radiator 'fluid' is not considered conducting. The voltage potential of the two metals is close to zero in a closed non-contact system.
