Re: Intel DQ77KB: A Low Power LGA1155 Motherboard

Its a great board for certain uses, its hard to find anything close to it in power/features/price for a DIY micro server. (not atom, not soldered overpriced laptop cpu, truly VT-d capable) The dual intel nics is a huge space saver, although the 82579LM has driver concerns for some stuff. The only si...

Re: G860 DH61AG vs G2120 DQ77KB

I am going to build a Euler system in the next week or so. I am trying to decide between DQ77KB + G2120 ($240) or DH61AG + G860 ($185). My main concern with the DQ77KB path is the scattered reports of poor reliability - including the SPCR copy! With the G860 I wonder if there is a problem with it b...

Re: Showed up at US vendor

$90, a little cheaper than Akasa guessed it would be stateside http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/akeufacaform.html $115 with the power adapter. True, though I'd rather buy it without. Shouldn't buy theirs anyways, amazon etc has 90W (or more) for ~$15. They use the same plug that many Dell and HP ...

no case fit issues, some dq77kb & cpu info

I have a DQ77KB in this case with a 3220T, it has no fit problems. I'll try to post some pictures when I get a chance. If you're looking for an easy to find 45W quadcore, there is the Xeon E3 1265L V2 and it works with the board just fine. Only HD2500 though, something I found out after I bought it ...

Re: Akasa Euler Fanless case

Registered here just so I could comment on this, I had a friend visiting england awhile back and got him to pick this up for me. In the article you mentioned not being able to do 2560x1440, but the DQ77KB has displayport which is more than capable. I used a i3 3220T and while I was installing everyt...
