Was wondering if you've tried the Silent Wings 2 already - a newer version of the SW USC. They've received excellent (but very few) reviews...
edit: after quite a bit of reading it seems very likely the Silent Wings 2 are the same as the USC, except for new anti-vibration mounts.

Note that you have an additional problem with the Scythe and any other CPU cooler - that same 80mm space is used for the PSU to suck its air so you'll get two fans trying to suck air from the same very small space. Not good for performance at all... The Noctua NH-L12 could blow its air up into the P...

It's a 140mm fan, as 180mm is pretty much the footprint of the case... Otherwise, agreedBlood wrote:I recommend the silverstone FT03-mini. It uses a bottom mounted 180mm fan for cooling. Seems like a sensible solution. Notice that if you remove the frame for the optical drive there is only one drive bay left (the 2.5" under the motherboard area). Of course, SSD's don't need such secure mounting - heck, you can tape one to the case just fine... I think this would not be hard to cool,...

Has any of you by any chance tried this PSU? I'd love to find out if it's noisy or not... I'm going to build a silent PC and it'd be quite annoying if the PSU (which will be at the top and closest to me) turns out to be the thing making all the noise
