Re: Silverstone TJ-08E gamer
Hey, cool idea with SSD :D When you will mount proper cooler on CPU, it would be nice to see how much GPU affects CPU temperatures in case design like this. In typical case (GPU below CPU), GPU on load can add 15°C or more to processor temperatures, I wonder if this kind of case design helps with t...

Two Silverstone TJ-08E gamer
Buildt this computer for a friend with his parts. The build was pretty straightforward, although the ssd is mounted with screws on top of the small hard drive cage in the bottom. The ssd also function as a funnel, and directs the air from the fan towards the chipset, cpu and memory. Spec: Asus GRYPH...

Re: Nearly Silent Corsair R300
The best aftermarket cooler out there is Prolimatech MK-26 Multi-VGA Cooler , but for sure is an overkill for a GTX660ti, that said you probably can cool it with fans spinning so low that will be inaudible under load, but its a big cooler that probably wont fit the R300, i couldnt find the height t...

Fan speeds are fixed. I use u.l.n.a from noctuaaxee wrote:Are those load or idle fan speeds?
For the temp read out i used AIDA64 Extreme Edition.Abula wrote:Thanks for sharing your details on prime95, pretty good temps. Just wonderin what software you using to measure the temps?

Nearly Silent Corsair R300
Go this pc through a friend and did quite alot of modifications to it. The computer is Farly quite, im looking into buying a new gpu cooler since the stock cooler on the gtx660 card is far to noisy. Spec: MSI B75MA-P45 Intel i7 2700@ 4GHz (idle:30-33 degrees, 100% 59-61 (prime95 for 30 min)) Crucial...

Re: Silent Fractal Define mini
I moved the rear fan and placed it in the front. Installed one of the two included fans that came with the cpu cooler in the rear, and one on the cooler itself. All the fans are connected to u.l.n.a (ultra low noise adapters) and temps are stable around 32-35 degrees at idle, and around 50-55 degre...

This is my newest build, my goal was to build a reasonable and silent computer. Build: I moved the rear fan and placed it in the front. Installed one of the two included fans that came with the cpu cooler in the rear, and one on the cooler itself. All the fans are connected to u.l.n.a (ultra low noi...
