Re: SilverStone Argon AR02 CPU Cooler

Thanks a lot Mike. You cannot imagine how much time I spent just to put the backplate, thinking and re-thinking "what is wrong with my fingers!" By the way, I like this AR02 cooler. Compared to the Kotetsu that was installed one day before, in the same case, I found it as quite. (Of course, it...

Re: Custom Silent Case Videos

Nice casing.
It reminds me of that guy who was also building wooden case with vertical oriented boards and fans. (This ones looks nicer  )

And I like the idea of backup drive with a power button. Especially if the backup is a noisy 7200rpm (like mine). (I need to change it !!)

Re: SilverStone Argon AR02 CPU Cooler

I got this nice little blue in my new PC. Great choice, when I could not fit more than 140mm. But I got into something strange and wanted to ask your advice : the backplate doesnt seems to align "logically" to the holes of the motherboard. I have a GA-Z97N-Wifi It took me quite a long time to figure...

Re: Interesting cubes from Thermaltake for high performance

The Core V1 is smaller (and I don't need the handles of Prodigy, etc.) When I looked through these cube cases with a front intake fan, they all seem to have a common weakness: not a lot of breathing room at the GPU side and the intake fan is centred on the CPU, rather than offset to the GPU side. I...

Since you are talking about the Thermaltake "cubes", What do you think of the smaller Core V1? (for a small config i5-4460, HD4600, no discrete card, 1 SSD, 1 2.5" HDD) http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Mini_Case_/Core/C_00002373/Core_V1/design.htm I have bad memories of the airflow "noise" from th...

To be safe, I'll take the 150 XT + 120W brick. (without heavy encoding, we should be good) Abula, I'm curious, on the Q07 where would you put the case fan, for positive pressure flow? On the perforated side panel? Or the back panel? because the bottom and front, are not perforated (like the Q08 and ...

For "passive", do you mean "just the 2 case fans"?

If it's so small difference, why not running with only the 2 fans, and nothing on the heatsink?
