Re: Fractal Design Core 500 Mini-ITX Chassis

I have assembled the system pretty easily. Biggest improvement is the distribution of the hard drives. The only thing that I would like to see is more explanations about how actually to put drive on the front panel - there should some kind of specific cable, otherwise you can damage the connectors o...

Re: Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case

Hello there. Thanks for the review. Would anyone here be able to confirm that i can install a Scythe Kotetsu in this case? Would be with a Z97 GA mobo, and a GTX970. Thanks! I would not recommend such configuration. Here is why: 1. From Fractal Design site: •ATX PSUs, up to 160mm in length (To fit ...

Re: Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case

Are there any other alternative cases to consider that has the ability carry this many drives at a similar size I doubt. One year has passed after assembling it for the first time. Have anybody tried to replace fans in Xbox One power supply?

Hi,

Have anybody tried to replace fans in Xbox One power supply? This is not about instant on feature.
The noise is the same as 1 fan at almost full speed all the time. Power supply has plenty of vents, so I was thinking about buying replacement supply and replacing the fan inside.

Thanks.

Re: Fractal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case

Also for Mini-ITX cases I would definitely recommend NGFF aka M.2 SSDs (so far I have seen Crucial and Intel M.2 SSDs). This would free up one more SATA slot and there is no need for additional cables. Also there is more free space inside the case.
