Tsunami
How about the Tsunami or a pre-modded Tsunami ? I have been looking for new case with front/rear 120s with a door and room for my 4 drives and I am getting a Tsunami from Coolcases as I got my D8000 from them and I am also lazy. It is aluminum, but you were planning on dampening anyway I think. They...

Quiet External Drive for easy NAS
Considering ordering a LaCie Big Disk 500GB to connect to a Netgear WGT634U 108 Mbps Wireless Media Router This disk will probably sit on my desk as it comes with a drive stand for upright desktop use. Has anyone heard one of these operating and is this thing noisy to you? Also, outside of the noise...

Too easy
I wish you had a category between the Japanese Anime and Normal girl voice - like "Classic Asian" so I defaulted to Japanese Anime as Asian women have the best voices hand downs. (But I may be biased.)

Bonobo, Where did you find the dipology? There are at least 7 other Hd enclosure brands/products in the AKI shops that I think may do the job better, for less price than the nice expensive black SD2002s. Ok... In re-reading this thread, I may have been mistaken on the original purpose of the Raptor. My Maxtor is for my OS and progs, as I got a r...

Yeah, all good points. I have the parts on the way. Guess I will start with an rear intake duct to the CPU and see what response I get from the PSU. No way to know what really is going to happen until I try it. :) What I really want (probably in my next system) is a heatpipe that works good in a hor...

I was going to use the spray adhesive but McMaster would not ship it overseas. I went with a general purpose (metal, plastic, wood) Goop adhesive in a tube. (Found it at a local hardware store.)
